IIRC it may also give you slightly better armor. My imported save gave me the Aerondight as a starting silver sword which isn't that great in Witcher 2 (it just saves you from having to craft a silver sword early on in Chapter 1). Make sure you put the save in the Documents/Witcher 2/gamesaves folder and you should be good to go. Importing a save is nice, but it's not that important. Should not prove to be a big deal because I don't recall at any point in Witcher 3 this amulet being mentioned. Note: The quest "Melitele's Heart" was not done in Act 1 since I only told Newboy that there was magic in the amulet so he doned armor instead of telling him it was cursed and that way he would have given me the amulet. Also, I rather enjoyed going back and playing through W2 again so I might be doing a Iorveth playthrough again.
